Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.

About Shari

Shari Sternberger Elements of Energy Healing Touch Practitioner

I am a Maryland based Holistic Practitioner who works with various forms of energetic techniques that assist clients in bringing clarity and balance both within themselves and their environments.  The philosophy by which I live and work is deeply rooted in realizing the oneness of all living beings.

My passion is working with people in all their walks of life: babies, children, adults, families, elderly, hospice, people with their companion animals, employees, corporate executives and businesses too.

For the family:

  • Healing Touch is one of the most effective ways to soothe and communicate with a new baby.  It helps relax and calm baby's nervous system and may also strengthen baby's  respiratory, circulatory, and gastrointestinal functions.  Healing Touch is an energy-based therapy that supports the body's natural healing process.  It assists in creating an environment of safety and harmony to soothe and comfort a chid.
  • And, the benefit for moms is that it reduces tiredness, increases alertness and concentration, helps with postnatal depression and helps regulates hormones.
  • Want to increase your child's potential?  Ever wondered how you can help your child get better grades?  Many studies have been conducted relating to the effect of aromatherapy and memory.  Inhalation of the essential oils settled the children's brain waves into normal patterns and improved scholastic performance.  Attention spans were increased and impulsivity and hyperactivity were decreased.  Scientists have found that diffusing a scent while studying can help the brain retain the things that it learns.

People and pets:

  • animals and their families to create nurturing and harmonious relationships through which each family member can thrive.
  • I have found that the animals I have treated experience greater calm at home; are more relaxed when visiting the vet; and recover more soundly from surgeries and other traumas.  I have seen first hand the way in which animals function as buffers for their human companions.  When humans become stressed, their animals often absorb whatever energy the humans around them are giving out.  So, when animals act out it is often because the humans around them are experiencing some type of imbalance.

The Work Environment:

  • More to come

Using a variety of tools (healing touch, sound vibration, tuning forks, light and color, essential oils, and flower essences), I work with my clients to restore their inner balance while deepening their connection with themselves, family, friends, animals, place of work, and the world that we live in.

Whether you have an animal companion or not, I will work with you to balance your energy, heal your body, and nurture your spirit.  I can also help you to develop a greater awareness of your body’s rhythms, natural tendencies, and responses to various internal and external elements.  I am here to support you in learning and trusting your body.  My goal is to gently guide you into knowing when your body is at its best and when it is out of sync and signaling for help.

I believe in being proactive, and so I welcome clients who are invested in self-care and who want to fully participate in their healing process.  Sessions typically include some form of energy work blended with sound, vibration, light, color, flower and gem essences, and essential oils.  Many of my clients have experienced profound results.  I look forward to continuing my work with them while receiving new clients who seek to begin their own paths to healing.
