Healing Space
Like a puzzle some times you don’t know what the final picture will look like until all the pieces are in place. Looking back, I never thought I would be doing this type of work, nor would I have thought the place for my office would have been attached to our home.
We purchased this land 25 years ago with the hope of bulding a comfortable home that was close to jobs and resources that were important to us. After several years we were able to build our home on just under three acres of land that is completely wooded. Due to economics we were hoping to have the house close to the road so we wouldn’t have huge expenses for the driveway. But each time they did a “perk” test the site of the home kept moving back to the upper portion of the property. The sighting of the house by the architect was done to capture natures light to help warm and cool the house.
Moving to Maryland caused a huge asthma problem for me and I seemed to be allergic to everything. Through alternative methods I slowly began to heal and explore what else would make our family healthy. There were so many things to learn and explore and each new class that I took lead me down another path to investigate.
I was now attending classes for Healing Touch for people and animals and realized that the energy of your home has a great effect on your well being too. I attended a class in Feng Shui that taught several approaches to the ancient art of placement. Using the Flying Star method of Feng Shui; which uses compass measurement; I learned that our home that we lived in was considered a home of healing. Looking back, I often wonder how the architect knew this was the perfect placement for our home. Divine intervention is all I can say and the rest of the events let me to the office I now have.
Points of interest about the office are that I had the opportunity to imbed quartz crystals in the foundation from France and Arkansas. There are also healing holograms layered in the floor of the healing space and my office area. The ceiling houses a double ring that is suspended and light tracks ripple like water in the inner circle and to some it feels like a vortex of energy.
The office space was designed to permit animals and people to be together if they choose to be. And, for those who are sensitive to animal presence, a high end heating/cooling system was installed to purify the air and permit fresh air exchanges. For those of us that are challenged by stairs the office a permit easy access and is ADA friendly.
